Pendulum History

Pendulums have been used historically for thousands of years. According to D.J. Conway in Pendulum Magic, "the pendulum is a divining tool which has been used to find water for tribes, discover causes of illness or receive information about the future." "The oldest record of dowsing being used by humans may be the pictographs on the walls of the Tassili Caves in south Algeria. Dating from about 6,000 B.C.E., these painting show stylized human figures holding forked sticks." "They were used by the Chinese over 4000 years ago and the Romans over 2000 years ago."

It is easy to accept the possible use of divining tools in looking for water but for some, a bit of a stretch to consider believing in the use of such an instrument in the discovery of causes of illness and even more of a stretch to imagine using such a tool in receiving information about living at your highest potential.
